Drinking Water for Humans and Animals (PT05)

Oxiflo specialise in the formulation of two highly sophisticated Oxidising Biocides used within drinking water applications.

Our Chlorine Dioxide (ClO2) generated via the DWI approved Reg 31 Oxiflo 1 & 2 system is a powerful multipurpose biocide.

Silvenox is our 50% Dual Active Silver Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) used primarily for continual water treatment within the agricultural sector.

These broad-spectrum biocides can be utilised as a primary disinfectant as well as an oxidant in drinking water treatment (potable applications), enhancing the final quality of drinking water, improving the odour, taste, and colour, all whilst simultaneously preventing the build-up of biofilm within the drinker lines.

Both chemistries are highly effective in controlling waterborne pathogens without creating DBPs (Disinfection by-products) associated with traditional methods. Both products are also more effective against viruses, bacteria, and fungi when compared with chlorine or chlorinated compounds.
