Iron & Manganese Filtration

Occasionally, natural water supplies such as boreholes, require mechanical intervention as well as polishing disinfection to achieve the best results. Our chemicals are used extensively as part of Iron and Manganese filtration systems as both a pre-oxidiser and as a polishing disinfectant. Thus, allowing borehole water supplies to operate in a more hygienic and efficient manner.

Borehole water supplies present many challenges, primarily high Iron and Manganese levels. We have successfully treated highly contaminated boreholes with a combination of filtration and chemical dosing in the UK & Eire, bringing the water up to potable standards. Thus, ensuring confidence in the integral aspect of water quality.  

Depending upon your water quality test results and flow rates, appropriate suggestions as to which type of media, backwash cycle, pre-oxidiser and set  up will be required. Our chemicals are easy to apply and retrofit to existing water systems via a simple dosing rig.
